Great attention to detail, crisp production with lots of fill detail. The build is stunning and the bass fills are exquisite. The melody is sublime and very catch to the point you will be humming this for the course of the day. A serious collaborative duo to watch. The opening sequence is light, airy and atmospheric and leads you perfectly into the first drop. The bass structure and drum and percussion combo is crisp and works an absolute treat. Everything about this release oozes brilliance and will not disappoint. Kontrast debuts for the Erculean imprint, with his breathtaking collaboration with vocalist Mali Lloyd. Special?? You better believe it! Everything about this track oozes utter brilliance. The fact it is ridiculously clean, and you can hear everything. Perfect! The vocal is mesmerising and deserves special credit. A good vocal is hard to come by, and a great one is rare.... in this track we have a great vocalist and vocal. The production is right on point, and all the primary sounds are exquisite. The kicks are solid and punch really well, the bass melody and structure is perfectly balanced allowing everything around it to breathe including the vocal. The overlay synths and fx are used to great effect, a truly infectious release by the South-West producer. The track is so finely balanced and is a pleasure to the ears. Both producer and vocalist hitting the A-game. Bipolar & SMP arrive at the Erculean Recordings imprint Starting with the collaborative effort 'Cutting The Groove'. This has all the hallmarks to make you know it's a special track. With a really solid bass structure, combined with nice chunky kicks and clean percussion it already has the mouth watering. 'Cutting The Groove' with its excellent synths and effective pads pushing the track through. The breakdown is exceptional and the drops are on the money. The collaborative duo are a force to be reckoned with and this is going to have the deeper DnB lovers in a twizz. The intro and breakdowns are exceptional with a very good female vocal fx gracing our ears. The spoken vocal sample building up to the drops work really well. And the dark bass overlay sounds stunning with the sub. Really good work from the two producers. Bipolar also brings the fire with his solo effort to the compilation. 'Culning' is definitely worth waiting for. This oozes brilliance from start to finish. With a really atmospheric opening sequence and brilliant synth riff, it tells you exactly what you are going to expect from this detailed piece of work. The vocal fx is stunning, and the bass melody is really catchy. The bass fills work perfectly hand in hand with the sub bass structure. The drive of the track and the emotion behind it is something else! And the groove it creates is off the scale, a serious piece of music. Great productions, great talents! Chromantis arrives at the imprint with his track 'I Feel Luv', this is a special track.... and a perfect addition to this release. With a really intriguing and atmospheric opening sequence, and bass fx fills which tell you exactly what's in store. The vocal is perfectly toned and effective in it's use. The kicks are chunky and punch, the build is sensational, and the synths used as overlays are fantastic. The melody line is excellent and deserves the plaudits it's duly going to receive. The sub bass structure is killer with excellent change-ups adding variation to the bassline. Fantastic track from the UK based producer and there is so much more to come too. FX909 brings the heat with two exceptional debut tracks for Erculean Recordings. Firstly, we have 'Chosen', and this is a stunning piece of work by the French producer. A dj's dream of an intro.... nice and clean percussion as per usual by FX909. The vocal is soothing and really effective, and the sub and bass structure is excellent....breathtaking drum n bass. The piano chords are perfect and work hand in hand with the vocal and bass structure effortlessly. The synth overlays are used sparingly and to good effect. This is a special track and will get plenty of plaudits guaranteed. Also, on the release is 'Listen'. With a beautiful atmospheric opening sequence, with beautiful synths and vocal. The clean chunky kicks and punchy bassline are the core to this fantastic track. The vocal is next level and the piano melody line takes this from excellent to uber quality. Everything pulls together really nicely and we are fully sure this is going to be a big hit.... Epic releases from start to finish. Quality speaks for itself and in this instance this is very much the case. Treba returns to Erculean Recordings following his brilliant release 'Inner EP'. ... not once but twice. Not bad eh? Well he is certainly one of the artists we feel will go a long way in shaping the future of the genre, and with two additions you will see why!! In no particular order we have 'Get Away', and this ticks all the boxes. Fantastic groove in the bassline and melody line, which allows the feet to keep tapping. The vocal is put to magnificent use, and the keys which overlay are special and bind the track together really well. A fine piece of production from the UK based producer. Accompanying 'Get Away' is 'Boxing Day'..... and this is superb! With great attention to detail and crisp, clean sounds. This has everything!! Every now and again you get a vocal and piano keys that make the hairs on the back of your neck sit on end. This is that track!! Treba is going from strength to strength and is going to be around for a long time to come! Exceptional productions from the dnb producer. Here we have a top drawer artist in 'Twintone' returning to the imprint following his impressive release 'Seraphim EP' on Erculean Recordings. This time the Germany based producer teams up with 'Tsugishi' to bring something Uber special titled 'Nightmares'. And this really is a beaut from start to finish. The intriguing opening sequence builds the excitement. With the vocal tease at the beginning leading into the first drop, it really is a delight to behold. The two styles certainly in show in this release. With effective bass fills, clean bass structure and the primary sounds are beautiful. The drum and percussions are experimental and really do the track justice. The breakdown is brief and works a treat, leading into the oriental drop. What a special release from the collaborative duo. The crispness and punch are next level, and show pure quality. Fishy returns to the label with his stunning release 'Last Minute', following 'Globular Cluster EP', and 'Between The Lines EP'. Two fantastic releases, and now is part of this huge up and coming compilation album. When you analyze what makes a consistently good producer, look no further than the Norwegian! Ever reliable, ever impressionable and featured on everything over the past few years. This shows the level and quality of the dnb producer. And he's at it again. The intro is airy and clean with nice punch and impressive overlay sounds. The first drop is epic and brings a smile to your face, the the bass and drum structures work effortlessly together. The synth melody line is works a treat with the bass melody like two peas in a pod. Nice spacious breakdown and the second drop is beautiful.
